Most of my life I would have said I was a morning person, but my favorite time of day with four boys at home has got to be “story time.” When is that? Well, morning time, afternoon time, bedtime…sometimes even mealtime! I love to read aloud to them, but nowadays I can also often find all four curled up with a book of their own. I love how stories can lift us up, calm us down, and teach life lessons that my own lectures simply cannot. We learn together, we make shared memories, and all the stories we read have become a part of our own story.
